Notes on replacing All-Activity-Module (AAM) - AD54.21-P-2000-03GH
Variant coding
Variant coding must be carried out after replacing the All-Activity Module (AAM) (N10). Variant coding is menu-assisted.
The All-Activity Module (AAM) (N10), transmitter key
and engine control module
must be "married" to each other, i.e. the engine control module and the AAM "learn" the vehicle lock number. In addition, the AAM "learns" the transmitter code numbers. This assignment cannot be changed anymore later.
This means that if the All-Activity Module (AAM) (N10) is defective
- Order the new AAM and new master key quoting the lock ident. number.
- Reset and re-program the engine control module with the HHT.
(also refer to Diagnosis, radio frequency remote control/electric central locking (RFL).)
