Test 13: Driver's Side Horizontal Adjustment Motor Test

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Using Harness Adapter (210 589 01 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to combination control module. Disconnect driver's side mirror harness connector No. 1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Using a jumper wire, connect pin No. 5 at driver's side mirror connector No. 1 to terminals No. 1 at driver's side mirror harness connector No. 1. Using Fused Jumper Wire (124589 37 63 00), connect terminals No. 1 and 3 at breakout box. Using another jumper wire, briefly connect pin No. 4 at driver's side mirror connector No. 1 to terminals No. 2 at driver's side mirror harness connector No. 1. If driver's side horizontal adjustment motor runs, driver's side horizontal adjustment motor is okay at this time. If driver's side horizontal adjustment motor does not run, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, replace driver's side mirror assembly.
