DTC Description (Shifting Solenoid Valve 2-3)

Fault Memory & Actuation Of MIL - MIL is turned on after 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault.
Frequency Of Testing - Continuous.
Checked Signal Or Status - Voltage supply.
Short Circuit To Ground - Less than 0.4 volts.
Voltage Lower Limit Value - Approximately 8.5 volts.
Voltage Upper Limit Value - Approximately 15 volts.
Current Lower Limit Value - Approximately 0.300 amps.
Current Upper Limit Value - Approximately 0.700 amps.
Duration Of Test - Approximately one second.

NOTE: Faults (actuation, open circuit, short circuit or short in valve) recognized by the Electronic Transmission Control (ETC) module and sent to the ME-SFI control module via the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The ME-SFI control module carries out fault memory and actuation of Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). Also read out ETC fault memory for fault code 3.
