Rear head restraint adjustment
Function prerequisites:
- C.15 ON
- Voltage not too low or too high
Function
The rear head restraint adjustment is accomplished pneumatically by electrically controlled pressure valves. The pneumatic system equipment control module (combined, A37) supplies the vacuum and pressure and controls the pressure valves.
The following positions are possible:
- Sequential fold down of all three (two in model 215) rear head restraints with the rear head restraint switch (N72/1s4) in the upper control panel control module (N72/1)
- Putting up the left and right rear head restraints with the rear head restraint switch (N72/1s4) in the upper control panel control module (N72/1) (special equipment)
- Raising and lowering the left/right rear head restraint Model 215: Control with rear head restraint raise/lower switch (S52/5) (special equipment)., Model 220: Control with head restraint adjustment raise/lower switch (N69/3s8)/(N69/4s8) in rear left door control module (N69/3)/rear right door control module (N69/4) (special equipment)
- Putting up the left and right rear head restraints upon recognition that the belt is buckled via the left and right rear seat belt buckle and seat belt wear convenience switches (S68/11)/(S68/12) (special equipment).
