Lowering rear head restraints function - GF91.16-P-2000S
MODEL 215, 220
Function prerequisites:
- Voltage not too low or too high
- C.15 ON
Function
The rear head restraints can be put down to give the driver an unimpeded view through the rear window.
This is accomplished pneumatically with vacuum control. When the rear head restraint switch (N72/1s4) in the upper control panel control module (N72/1) is pressed, the PSE control module (combined) (A37) receives a message via the CAN to sequentially put down the three head restraints. The PSE control module (combined) (A37) then first actuates the right head restraint up valve (Y24/5) , then the left head restraint up valve (Y24/4) and finally the center head restraint up valve (Y24/6) . The head restraints fold down one after the other.
