  Pressure sensor - task The pressure sensor detects the absolute pressure (boost pressure) in the intake manifold in the intake manifold. The ME control unit (N3/10) needs the boost pressure and the charge air temperature to calculate the supplied air mass.  
  Pressure sensor - design   GF07.04-P-5014-03AM 
  Pressure sensor - function The intake manifold pressure distorts a diaphragm which acts on the potentiometer. This alters the resistance value of the potentiometer and influences the output voltage, which is used as information regarding the boost pressure. The pressure gauge range is between 0.2 up to 2.5 bar.
