Transfer case "Low Range" indicator lamp, function - GF28.19-P-3300-02GH
Function:
- "High" → "Low" shift (road → off-road):
"Low Range" indicator lamp (A1 e53) flashes 2x slowly within two seconds at a frequency of 1 Hz, starting on.
- "Low" → "High" shift (off-road → road):
"Low Range" indicator lamp (A1e53) flashes 2x slowly within 2.5 seconds at a frequency of 1 Hz, starting off.
- Shift conditions not satisfied / fault in actuator motor or position sensor:
"Low Range" indicator lamp (A1e53) flashes 4x rapidly within 1.6 seconds at a frequency of 2.5 Hz if the vehicle is in "High" (road ratio).
If the vehicle is in "Low" (off-road ratio), the "Low Range" indicator lamp flashes 4x rapidly within 1.8 seconds at the same frequency.
- Fault in the position sensor / identification of necessary shift to "High" when the ignition is switched on:
"Low Range" indicator lamp (A1e53) flashes 20x rapidly within 8 seconds at a frequency of 2.5 Hz, starting off.
