Navigation Working Improperly

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the radio (MCS), while in navigation mode, navigation reporting CD/DVD error (intermittently or always) or the navigation CD/DVD not recognized, please check the navigation CD/DVD for scratches. Scratches occur as a result of improper handling of the disc during use and should NOT be replaced under vehicle warranty.

Polishing discs to repair scratches or cracks is NOT recommended. Discs should be stored in their protective cases when not in use to prevent damage from occurring.

Only discs which are scratched when first removed from original packaging may be replaced under warranty.

CDs should be checked at PDI. Should the Navigation CD be received with scratches in it, the CD will be returned to the dealer and the corresponding claim will be debited.
