09/01-1 RECALLS AND SERVICE CAMPAIGNS: WHEN REPAIRING ANY VEHICLE, ALWAYS CHECK THE VEHICLE MASTER INQUIRY FOR OPEN CAMPAIGNS.
09/01-2 GROUP 82.70 - All MODELS, MODEL YEAR 2000 & 2001, TELEPHONE PSE FLASHING: Please note that the following guidelines should be adhered to regarding flashing of the Telephone PSEs (A59/1).
- MY 00 / StarTac - Q6820460 - SYN0234 A, B should be flashed if necessary using "StarTac.S19" Software.
- MY 00 / StarTac - Q6820460 - SYN0234 C should NOT be flashed.
- MY 00 / StarTac - Q6829460 - SYN0234 A,B,C, SYN8738 A,B,C and SYN9081 A should NOT be flashed.
- MY 01 / Timeport - Q6820648 - SYN8738 A, B should be flashed if necessary using "Timeport.S19" Software.
- MY 01 / Timeport - Q6820648 - SYN8738 C should NOT be flashed.
- MY 01 / Timeport - Q6829648 - SYN8738 A,B,C and SYN9081 A should NOT be flashed.
NOTE:
Please use both the part number (Q682xxxx) and the SYN number (SYNxxxxx) for Flashing guideline.
Flashing of software in telephone PSEs should only be performed in case where it is necessary to address a client complaint of telephone malfunction.
