Flashing of Motorola Portable Support Electronics

SERVICE INFORMATION

Effective immediately, do not update ("flash") the software in any telephone PSE (A59/1). Telephone PSEs should only be replaced. Any warranty claim for PSE flashing submitted after August 12, 2001 will be denied.

Within the next two weeks, please return the PSE Flashing Tool and Cable that was provided to your dealership at no charge. The Flash Cable was shipped with the Model Year 2001 Phase I advanced release on July 20, 2000. The PSE Flash Tool (Compaq PDA) was shipped with Model Year 2001 Phase II advanced release on October 30, 2000.

Flash tool should be returned to the address below. Please include your dealership name, address and dealer code for proper accounting. It is recommended that a shipping method which can be tracked and provide proof of delivery be used.
