Computerized Engine Controls (Me-SFI System): Notes

NOTE: Components and/or systems identified, are not used on all engine applications.

The Motor Electronics Sequential Fuel Injection (ME-SFI) system consists of activated charcoal canister shut-off valve, adjustable camshaft timing solenoid, AIR pump, AIR pump switchover valve, Base Module (BM), body acceleration sensor, camshaft hall-effect sensor, Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor, Electronic Accelerator/Cruise Control/Idle Speed Control (EA/CC/ISC) actuator, Engine Control Module (ECM), Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, fuel injectors, fuel tank pressure sensor, hot film mass airflow sensor, Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, ignition coils, intake manifold pressure sensor, Knock Sensor (left and right side), oil level switch, Oxygen Sensor (O2S) (downstream), Oxygen Sensor (O2S) (upstream), pedal value sensor, purge control valve, purge monitoring pressure sensor, and Transmission Control Module (TCM).
