Remove/install steering coupling - AR46.10-P-8000GH

	Remove/Install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts	All models	AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Position steering wheel horizontal (front wheels in straight ahead position)
2	Turn steering wheel to center position (front wheels in straight-ahead position) and secure with holding device	The steering wheel must not be turned when the steering coupling is detached otherwise the contact spiral () will be destroyed.

3.1	Detach right exhaust heat shield (105d)	If installed.
4	Unscrew nut (25e) and bolt from steering coupling (25)		*BA46.10-P-1001-01D
5	Unscrew nut (25d) with bolt from steering coupling (25) on lower steering shaft (80a)		*BA46.10-P-1001-01D
6	Carefully pull steering coupling (25) out of rack-and-pinion steering's control valve	Do not use force (hammer blows, severe leverage), if necessary expand clamping groove slightly using a screwdriver. Installation:  ↓
		Rotate rack-and-pinion steering to central position and install steering coupling.	AR46.20-P-0600-01GH
7	Pull lower steering shaft (80a) upwards out of the steering coupling (25)	Do not use force as the collapsible tubing is sensitive to side forces. Enlarge clamping groove a little with a screwdriver if necessary.
8.1	Remove steering coupling shield (25f)	If installed.
9	Install in the reverse order
