Locator lighting, function - GF80.20-P-2008GH

MODEL 163.136 /157 /172 as of 1.9.01 

The locator lighting function is used to make it easier to locate the vehicle in a poorly lit environment.

The vehicle unlocked by the radio remote control switches on the vehicle lighting (park lamps, taillamps, license plate lamps and fog lamps) for 40 sec.

Function prerequisites 

Operational sequence: 

When opening the vehicle using the transmitter key (selectively or globally), the vehicle lighting (park lamps, tail lamps, license plate lamps and fog lamps) is switched on for a maximum of 40 sec.

IMPORTANT The locator lighting is also active in daylight.

Function interruption: 

The locator lighting function is interrupted, if:

IMPORTANT If the exterior lamp switch is not set to "AUTO", then the locator lighting function is not active.
