Test 3.0: Central Locking System "Open" Signal

  1. Connect Hand-Held tester (HHT) to diagnostic connector. Select LOCKNUT SWITCH 1 on HHT display. Monitor readings. Attempt to unlock doors using remote transmitter and key. If YES is displayed, system is okay. If NO is displayed, go to next step.
  2. Connect harness adapter and breakout box to anti-theft control module connector. Measure voltage between terminals No. 1 and 11 at breakout box. Attempt to unlock doors using remote transmitter and key. Battery voltage should exist. If battery voltage does not exist, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Diagnose central locking system.
