Test 38: Child Safety Lock Switch

Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located in engine bay. Monitor lower control panel control module readings. Turn ignition on. Push window lockout switch to right (child symbol visible); LOCKED should be displayed on HHT. Push window lockout switch to left (child symbol not visible); UNLOCKED should be displayed on HHT. If readings are not as described, check lower control panel control module. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
