Power Windows

Power window system consist of power window switches, lower control field control module, driver/passenger side door control modules, power window motors, window regulator, rear window safety switch and related wiring. Pressing power window switch to first detent and holding it there will open or close window to desired position. Front windows have one-touch operation. This is accomplished by pressing power window switch to second detent and releasing. When this feature is activated the appropriate window will open completely, unless interrupted by pressing power window switch again. Rear windows are operated from center console switch or individual switch at respective door.

Power windows also have a combination that opens and closes windows as doors are open or closed. When a door is opened, that door's window will open slightly. When door is closed, window will close. This feature also allows all windows to be closed using key in doors or trunk lock. Turn key in door or trunk to lock position and hold there until all windows are closed.
