Test 10: Activation Of Right Front Power Window Motor By Passenger Side Door Control Module

  1. Disconnect right front power window motor connector. Turn ignition to RUN position. Relay in door control module should be heard engaging. Check voltage between right front power window motor connector terminals No. 2 and 7.
  2. Press back of right front power window switch to first detent. Battery voltage should exist. Press back of switch past first detent and hold. Battery voltage should exist. Press front of switch to first detent. Negative battery voltage should exist. Press front of switch past first detent and hold. Negative battery voltage should exist.
  3. If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. If wiring is okay, perform TEST 9: RIGHT FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under SYSTEM TESTS. If lower control field control module is okay, replace front passenger side door control module.
