Test 16: Safety Switch Time

Disconnect Pneumatic System Equipment (PSE) control module pneumatic connector. See VACUUM DIAGRAMS . Cap all pneumatic ports except OBS, RTG, RTR and MVA on PSE control module. See Fig 1, Fig 2 or Fig 3 . Close all doors. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If vacuum pump in PSE control module runs for approximately 60 seconds, safety switch time is functioning properly. If vacuum pump in PSE control module does not run for approximately 60 seconds, check the following as possible cause and repair as necessary:
