08M/97-2 GROUP 72 - MODEL 163, HHT VERSION CODING FOR POWER SEATS AND WINDOWS: All field and dealer personnel are advised that it is illegal, and a violation of Federal law to program or enable the Power Seats and Windows to function with the door opened in Model 163 (M-Class). This feature is disabled in USA vehicles since it does not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 118. The ONLY permitted setting for this Version Coding item (AAM Version Coding menu item 10) is "Only with Circuit 15c". Please ensure that all dealer personnel are aware of, and comply with this information.
