Function of preliminary block switch-off - GF91.29-P-4003A

MODEL 210.081 /281, 210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97 with CODE (275a) Memory package (driver's seat, steering column, rearview mirrors)

Function 

If the motor moves against the mechanical end stop, motor lock-up is recognized by the position measurement  feature. The driver-side ESA control module (N32/1)  or passenger-side ESA control module (N32/2)  stores the position measurement counter position. The next time the seat is moved in the direction of this end stop, the motor is slowed down just before reaching the stored position. This prevents the seat from hitting hard against the end stop.
