Function of front seat adjustment switch cluster - GF91.29-P-2100-02D
The front seat can be moved to the desired position by pressing the individual switches in the front seat adjustment switch cluster.
The front seat adjustment switch cluster provides 5 or 6 adjustment possibilities:
- Height adjustment at front
- Longitudinal adjustment
- Height adjustment at rear
- Backrest adjustment
- Head restraint adjustment
- Steering column adjustment (model 210 only)
In addition three seat positions can be stored by pressing the associated buttons.
All functions are transferred by means of voltage coding via three signal lines and one ground line to the front driver-side door control module (N69/1) or front passenger-side door control module (N69/2) .
One line each is available for the following functions:
- Position 3, height adjustment at rear and longitudinal adjustment
- Position 2, head restraint adjustment and height adjustment at front
- Position 1 and backrest adjustment.
