MODEL 210

Key

The mechanical part of the key can be pushed completely out of the electronic part of the key after pressing the release button. This allows simple separation of the two components.

The "mechanical key" is only required in the "electronic key" for unlocking and locking the vehicle with the mechanical locks in the driver's door or trunk lid when the batteries are discharged.

The "mechanical key" is not important for releasing the drive authorization system. The drive authorization system is only released when the "electronic key" is inserted into the electronic ignition/starter switch (EIS).
