Convenience Feature Malfunctioning
- Disconnect power seat control module harness connector No. 4. See Figure . Measure voltage between pins No. 2 and 4 at power seat control module connector No. 4. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace power seat control module.
- Measure voltage between pins No. 1 and 2 at power seat control module connector No. 4. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace power seat control module.
- Remove wire from terminal No. 4 at power control module harness connector No. 4. Connect power seat control module harness connector No. 4. Ensure seat-back is all the way back against stop. Measure voltage between ground and disconnected wire. If greater than 5 volts exists, system is okay at this time. If 4 volts or less exists, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, replace seat-back latch switch.
