System Cannot Be Set From Trunk Lock

  1. Using Harness Adapter (129 589 04 63 00), connect Breakout Box (124 589 00 21 00) to alarm control module. Measure voltage between terminals No. 1 and 4 at breakout box. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Measure voltage between terminals No. 1 and 11 at breakout box. Turn key in trunk lid lock to left or to first detent to right. If battery voltage exists, replace alarm control module. If battery voltage does not exist, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If wiring is okay, replace door lock switch.
