Camshaft Position Sensor: Removal

On 3.2L engines, remove valve cover. On 3.2L engine, remove engine compartment panel (if necessary). On all engines, remove camshaft position sensor, sealing ring and shim. See Fig 1.

CAUTION: If installing a new sensor, failure to adjust clearance may result in a damaged camshaft position sensor.
