04/96-2 GROUP 54 - MODEL 210, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PROGRAMMING: When replacing an instrument cluster in Model 210, the new cluster must be version coded with the HHT before use. In some cases, dealers have been unable to access the version coding menu confirmation screen with the HHT. There is a work-around method which can be used. In these cases, changing the language option of the new cluster from English to German has been found to permit the HHT to access the version coding menu confirmation screen. After version coding is performed, the language option may be changed back to English.
