Vacuum Distribution & Switchover Valve Block

  1. Remove vacuum distributor block. See SWITCHOVER VALVE BLOCK  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Apply 8.9" Hg of vacuum to port "P" on distributor block. Distributor block should not leak more than .9" Hg in one minute. If system operates as specified, go to next step. If system does not operate as specified, check and repair vacuum distributor block, vacuum reservoir and vacuum lines.
  2. Apply 8.9" Hg of vacuum to port "1" on distributor block. Distributor block should not leak more than .9" Hg in one minute. If system operates as specified, go to next step. If system does not operate as specified, check and repair vacuum distributor block, vacuum reservoir and vacuum lines.
  3. Apply 8.9" Hg of vacuum to port "4" on distributor block. Distributor block should not leak more than .9" Hg in one minute. If system operates as specified, go to next step. If system does not operate as specified, check and repair vacuum distributor block, vacuum reservoir and vacuum lines.
  4. Disconnect vacuum reservoir vacuum line. Apply 8.9" Hg of vacuum to vacuum reservoir port. Vacuum reservoir should not leak more than .9" Hg in one minute. If system operates as specified, go to next step. If system does not operate as specified, check and repair vacuum reservoir and vacuum lines.
  5. Disconnect switchover valve block Green vacuum line. Apply 8.9" Hg of vacuum to switchover valve block port. Switchover valve block should not leak more than .9" Hg in one minute. If system operates as specified, system is operating normally at this time. If system does not operate as specified, check and repair switchover valve block and vacuum lines.
