SERVICE INFORMATION

On some vehicles the lower engine compartment panel was incorrectly installed during production. The panel projects into the sides of the wheelhouse liners instead covering them from below.

During the next maintenance requiring the removal of the lower engine compartment panel (1), make certain that you reinstall it in a such way that it will cover the left and right side wheelhouse liner (2) as illustrated in Fig 1 . To do so, install the sheet metal clip nuts of the engine compartment panel on the wheelhouse liners.
