Convenience Control
To close windows, turn key in door or trunk lock to LOCK position and hold in this position. The windows begin to close automatically after about one second. See Fig 1. The closing operation can be interrupted by turning the key back to the initial position. To continue the closing operation, the key must first be moved into the UNLOCK position and then again turned into the LOCK position.
If the key in the trunk lock is turned fully to the right to position 4, the windows are not operated and remain open. See Fig 1. Driver door lock, front passenger door lock and trunk lock are each fitted with a microswitch for operating the convenience control. The central control unit is housed on the left below the rear seat cushion.
If the power window switch is pressed beyond the OPEN pressure point, the front windows open automatically down to the end position. The automatic opening operation is terminated if the power window switch is pressed in the OPEN or CLOSE direction.
