Mixture Control Assembly (190E 2.6L & 300 Series)

1. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE (190E 2.6L & 300 SERIES). Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air filter assembly. Disconnect and remove fuel injection lines from fuel distributor and injectors. See Fig 1 . Remove wiring harness connectors as necessary.
2. Disconnect fuel inlet and return lines from fuel distributor. Loosen air guide housing hose clamp. Lift and remove mixture control assembly while removing idle speed air hose.
