Steering Wheel Turning Force Test

Install Mount (126-589-13-63-00 ) to steering wheel. Attach an INCH lb. torque wrench to mount. With engine idling, measure amount of force required to turn steering wheel. Force should not exceed 44-62 INCH lbs. (5-7 N.m). If force exerted is not as specified, check pump pressure and steering gear for binding.
