Deceleration Control

When transmission is in higher gears, throttle position switch is closed and manifold vacuum is high. ECU senses a coasting deceleration mode and fuel cut-off solenoid is activated to cut fuel flow to injectors. Fuel flows to injectors when transmission shifts into lower gears, and RPM switch signals ECU to resume fuel injection.
