Description & Operation

Power window system consists of power window switches, power window motors, window regulator, rear window safety switch and related wiring. Power windows are operational with ignition key in positions 1 or 2 in ignition switch. Pressing power window switch and holding it there will open or close window to desired position. Rear windows can be operated from center console switches or an individual switch at respective door. If inadvertent operation of the rear windows (for instance by children) is not desired, activating the safety switch will prevent operation. The safety switch will illuminate indicating it is on.
