Turbocharger Assembly: Installation
- Install all parts in reverse order of removal. Before mounting turbocharger, install intermediate flange and oil return pipe. Install flange gasket between turbocharger and exhaust manifold with reinforcing bead toward exhaust manifold.
- Use only heatproof nuts and bolts when installing turbocharger. Before operating turbocharger, fill center of housing with about 4 ounces of engine oil through engine oil supply bore. Ensure "O" rings are mounted correctly when installing air intake duct.
