Idle Speed Adjustment

The RPM sensor senses engine speed signal and transmits signal to AC voltage to EDS control unit. The EDS control unit processes RPM signal and a nominal actual value comparison is performed.

Idle speed is constantly held by a magnetic actuator. When coolant temperatures are below 140°F (60°C), coolant temperature sensor sends a variable signal and increases idle speed. The coolant temperature sensor is located in coolant outlet.
