SERVICE INFORMATION

Recent warranty returns of fuel system components have been received in a damaged and/or contaminated state due to improper packaging. It should be noted that all warranty returns and especially fuel system components must be packaged in the same manner as the new part received.

DIESEL

Diesel fuel components such as: injection pumps, injectors and fuel feed pumps, must be wiped clean and shipped with plugged fuel connections and wrapped in the original packaging material of the replacement component. Particular attention must be paid in closing all connections on injection pumps with closure plugs provided from the replacement pump.

GASOLINE

Gasoline fuel components such as: injectors, fuel distributors etc. should also be shipped with all external threaded fuel connections plugged, wrapped and/or boxed in the original packaging material of the replacement component.

NOTE: In the future, improperly packaged parts will be returned and debited to the dealers parts account.
