Injection Timer: Removal

  1. Remove injection pump and assembly basket. Remove camshaft timing gear by slackening chain and pull out locking pin.
  2. Push timing chain in outward direction by slipping in sheet metal strip about .008" (.20 mm) thick. Pull out injection timer.
