Injection Pump: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure engine is at TDC of No. 1 cylinder.
Rotate injection pump with Serration Wrench (601 589 00 08 00) on injection pump camshaft until lug of regulator shows up on bore. Slip in locking gauge. See Fig 1 .

NOTE: As soon as injection pump is installed and tightened, remove locking gauge. Injection pump damage may result if locking gauge is not removed.
