Testing Internal Resistance Of Solenoid Valves

  1. Depress push buttons "VL", "VR" and "HA" one after the other. Read value on tester after pushing each button. If Green test lamp lights and digital readout is between .7-1.7 ohms system is good, go to TEST 7. If readout is 1.7 ohms or higher or .7 ohms and lower, go to step 2).
  2. Check for poor contact at plug connection on hydraulic unit. Check harness to valve and plug socket of hydraulic unit for interruptions. Check valve for short circuit or bad ground connection. If circuit is okay, replace hydraulic unit.
