MCU Lower Chamber Pressure Check

  1. Connect test cable (102 589 04 63 00) to controlling element and volt/ohmmeter. Disconnect coupling of oxygen sensor below right front seat. Turn ignition switch on.
  2. Check volt/ohmmeter reading, should be between 7 and 9 mA. If nominal value is not attained, check lambda control.
  3. Pull off fuel pump relay. Install jumper wire between the 2 jacks 7 and 8. Check position of fuel gage valve. Nominal value should be approximately 6.0 psi (.42 kg/cm2 ).
