Modulating Pressure Adjustment

  1. Remove rubber cap on vacuum control unit. Pull locking plate out of locking slots to permit rotation.
  2. Adjusting screw in vacuum modulator can now be adjusted by means of locking plate. One turn of adjusting screw results in a pressure change of 6 psi (.4 kg/cm2 ).
  3. After turning adjusting screw, push locking plate back into locking slots. Put robber cap back on vacuum control unit. Measure modulating pressure once again. Plug-on vacuum line and screw to holder.
NOTE: Working pressure is not adjustable. Pressure is automatically established with correctly adjusted modulating pressure.
