WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) DISABLING PROCEDURE

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Switch panel (See SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Selector lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Apply cushioning tape to the vehicle-side connector.

  4. Disconnect the connector.

  5. Wrap cushioning tape around the connector.
    NOTE:
    • To prevent interference between the disconnected connector and the vehicle interior, wrap commercially available cushioning tape (length: 90 mm {3. 54 in} x width: 50 mm {1. 97 in} x thickness: 5 mm {0. 2 in}) around the connector.
  6. Remove the clip.

  7. Secure the short cord to the position shown in the figure below using tape.
  8. Install the clip.
  9. Install the following parts:
    1. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Selector lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Switch panel (See SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  10. Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
