DTC B148E-02: Front Camera Circuit Malfunction

System malfunction location Front camera circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The 360°view monitor control module detects a malfunction in the front camera circuit.
Fail-safe • Not applicable
Vehicle status when DTCs are output • Not applicable
Repeatability verification procedure 1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
Inspection/action procedure Proceed with the inspection/action in the order from Step 1 below.
After part repair or replacement, perform the repeatability verification procedure and perform a DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
If the same DTC is displayed again as a result of the DTC inspection, go to the next step.
1. Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the front camera and the 360° view monitor control module.
 
Purpose/reason (possible cause) Malfunction in the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the front camera and the 360° view monitor control module
Referred to service information item CIRCUIT INSPECTION / CONNECTOR INSPECTION
2. Replace the front camera.
Purpose/reason (possible cause) Front camera malfunction (applicable part cannot be inspected to determine integrity)
Referred to service information item FRONT CAMERA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
3.Replace the 360° view monitor control module.
Purpose/reason (possible cause) 360° view monitor control module malfunction (no other possible malfunction considered)
Referred to service information item 360° VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
