VIN information store function
- The SD card stores VIN information for the vehicle which is used by the SD card, and the SD card can only be used on the vehicle in which the VIN information has been stored.
NOTE:
- If an SD card is inserted into the SD card slot of the vehicle which contains information other than the VIN information stored in the SD card, "Invalid SD Card" is displayed in the center display.
- The VIN information stored in the SD card cannot be deleted or over-written.
- When any of the following conditions is met, the VIN information of the vehicle is stored in the SD card.
- Vehicle is driven approx. 100 km {62.1 mile} after inserting new SD card into SD card slot
- While traveled distance is less than approx. 100 km {62.1 mile} after inserting new SD card into SD card slot, SD card is inserted into SD card slot of another vehicle and ignition is switched to ACC or ON (engine off or on)
