DTC U3000-49: Vehicle Control Module (VCM) Internal Malfunction

U3000-49: (VCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Vehicle control module (VCM) internal malfunction
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) detects any of the following malfunctions. Vehicle control module (VCM) internal malfunction Power supply circuit malfunction
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VCM] .)
Possible cause	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and body control module (BCM) (Without i-ELOOP) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between body control module (BCM) and body ground (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) (With i-ELOOP) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) and body control module (BCM) (With i-ELOOP) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) malfunction (With i-ELOOP) (Refer to applicable [INSPECTION] in service information.) Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built-into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
