DTC P025D-00: Fuel Pump Control Module System: On-Board Diagnostic Result High Input (PYUL)

P025D: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Fuel pump control module system: On-board diagnostic result high input
Detection condition
  • There are no on-board diagnostic results received from the fuel pump control module (voltage too high).
Fail-safe
  • Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
Vehicle status when DTCs are output
  • Not applicable
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
Inspection/action procedure
  • This DTC may be displayed due to the following DTCs. If the following DTC is displayed, give priority toperforming the inspection/action.
    • PCM (See DTC TABLE [PCM (PYUL)]
      • DTCs other than these DTCs
  • Proceed with the inspection/action in the order from Step 1 below.
  • After part repair or replacement, perform the repeatability verifi cation procedure and perform a DTCinspection. (See DTC INSPECTION )
  • If the DTC inspection indicates the same DTC again, go to the next step.
  1. Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the battery and the fuel pump relay.

    Purpose/reason (possible cause) 

    Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and fuel pump relay

    Referred to service information item 

    (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)

  2. Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the fuel pump relay and the fuel pumpcontrol module.

    Purpose/reason (possible cause) 

    Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel pump relay and fuel pump control module

    Referred to service information item 

    (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)

  3. Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the fuel pump control module and the PCM.

    Purpose/reason (possible cause) 

    Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel pump control module and PCM

    Referred to service information item 

    (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)

  4. Inspect the fuel pump relay.

    Purpose/reason (possible cause) 

    Fuel pump relay malfunction

    Referred to service information item 

    (See RELAY INSPECTION .)

  5. Inspect the fuel pump control module.

    Purpose/reason (possible cause) 

    Fuel pump control module malfunction

    Referred to service information item 

    (See RELAY INSPECTION .)

  6. Replace the PCM.

    Purpose/reason (possible cause) 

    PCM malfunction (no other possible malfunction considered)

    Referred to service information item 

    (See FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE INSPECTION .)
