DTC P025D-00: Fuel Pump Control Module System: On-Board Diagnostic Result High Input (PYUL)

P025D: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Fuel pump control module system: On-board diagnostic result high input
Detection condition	There are no on-board diagnostic results received from the fuel pump control module (voltage too high).
Fail-safe	Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
Vehicle status when DTCs are output	Not applicable
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
Inspection/action procedure	This DTC may be displayed due to the following DTCs. If the following DTC is displayed, give priority toperforming the inspection/action. PCM (See DTC TABLE [PCM (PYUL)] DTCs other than these DTCs Proceed with the inspection/action in the order from Step 1 below. After part repair or replacement, perform the repeatability verifi cation procedure and perform a DTCinspection. (See DTC INSPECTION ) If the DTC inspection indicates the same DTC again, go to the next step. Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the battery and the fuel pump relay. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and fuel pump relay Referred to service information item (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the fuel pump relay and the fuel pumpcontrol module. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel pump relay and fuel pump control module Referred to service information item (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Inspect the wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between the fuel pump control module and the PCM. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between fuel pump control module and PCM Referred to service information item (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Inspect the fuel pump relay. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Fuel pump relay malfunction Referred to service information item (See RELAY INSPECTION .) Inspect the fuel pump control module. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Fuel pump control module malfunction Referred to service information item (See RELAY INSPECTION .) Replace the PCM.
