Light Switch Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)

  3. Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the lower column cover. (See LOWER COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the clock spring (See CLOCK SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)
  6. Remove the Wiper and washer switch. (See WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Disconnect the connectors.

  8. Remove the screws.

  9. While pull out the combination light in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

  10. Remove the light switch.
  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
