Tie-rod End Removal Note

  1. Disconnect the tie-rod end joint using the following procedure.
    1. Loosen the nut.
    2. SSTUsing the SST, disengage the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle.
      • The figure shows the left side (same as right side).

  2. Remove the tie-rod end.
  3. Place alignment marks as shown in the figure for reference in tie-rod end assembly.
    • The figure shows the left side (same as right side).
