Inspect Rear Window Defogger
CAUTION:
- If the tester lead is applied directly to the rear window defogger, the lead may damage the rear window defogger. When inspecting, wrap aluminum foil around the tip of the lead and press the aluminum foil against the rear window defogger.

NOTE:
- Perform the procedure with the main power switched ON (READY off or on).
- Turn on the rear window defogger switch.
- Using the tester, connect the positive lead to the positive end of the rear window defogger and the negative lead to body ground.
- Slide the positive lead from the end of the positive side to the end of the negative side, and verify that the voltage of each filament is as indicated in the table.

- In the location where the voltage changes suddenly, there is a rear window defogger malfunction, therefore repair the rear window defogger. (See REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER INSPECTION ).
