PID/data monitor inspection

Using the PID/data monitor function of the M-MDS, select PID [ENG_OIL_LVL]. (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION ] in the Troubleshooting Service Information)
Verify the engine oil level with PID [ENG_OIL_LVL].

Measure the engine oil level using an oil level gauge.

Verify that the engine oil level indicated on the M-MDS and the engine oil level measured with the oil level gauge match.
- If a match cannot be verified, replace the engine oil level sensor. (See ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
